Sharing Senior Love

Sharing Senior Love aspires to bring hope, light, and love to senior citizens who have become isolated and lonely living alone or in a rest home environment.

About Us

Hope. Light. Love.

In Fresno County 19% of seniors 60 years of age and older live alone; many with no regular visitors or contact with the world outside their home. Feelings of loneliness and depression can leave our Seniors wondering if anyone in the world cares about them at all.

We want the Seniors in Fresno to know they are not forgotten!

We regularly send encouragement and well wishes through handwritten cards, mailed letters, phone calls, gifts, food, informational resources, visits, and occasional events as donations allow.

Sharing Senior Love is a passion project of founder Audrey Redmond. Audrey has been actively serving the community with many non-profit organizations for more than 45 years.

Senior citizens without family nearby, especially those in residential care, have always been on Audrey’s heart. During the Covid crisis, it became obvious to her that Seniors with no family or visitors are really feeling alone, hopeless, and in need of encouragement and reassurance that someone is thinking of and praying for them.
